Soft Play

Explore three floors of ball pools, slides and other fabulous indoor play activities in the soft play area, designed for children over 3. For little ones under 3, there is a self contained play area on the ground floor.

– £7 for age 4 and over

Weekend & School Holiday Price
– £7

Free all year for under 1s or those not yet walking. All participants must wear socks. If you do not have any with you we will require you to purchase socks from us at a cost of £1.

Clip ‘n Climb

Suitable from 4 years all the way up to adults, the concept is simple – you ‘clip’ onto belay ropes and climb! Choose from 10 themed walls and all staff are trained to ensure you have all the information and equipment you need to enjoy climbing in complete safety.

Bollo the Bear recently landed in Cornwall all the way from his native Netherlands! He’ll be a regular part of the Base Camp family, popping up to enjoy everything from soft play and climbing to birthday parties. You may even see him when you check in to your lodge…

Breakfast with Bollo

We’ll also be offering a ‘Breakfast with Bollo’ club throughout the summer months on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays when you can meet Park Ranger Bollo over breakfast!

Base Camp Café

The café at Base Camp serves Costa coffee and food. From breakfast and morning coffee to lunch, dinner or just a snack, we’ve got tasty treats for all ages. Plenty of veggie and gluten free options too.

School trips

Schools are welcome to visit Base Camp for school activity trips. Clip ‘n Climb is a challenging and enjoyable activity and Base Camp is the only activity centre offering Clip ‘n Climb in West Cornwall.

Children's Parties

At Base Camp, we host some of the best children’s birthday parties in Cornwall. There’s a great selection of amazing activities to choose from, so that you can create your own special party to remember!

Designing your party is simple. You start with the food package, which includes:

• Invitations
• Delicious party food and drinks
• Unlimited squash for the duration of your party
• Party table use
• Party bags for all your guests
• Free return play for the birthday child

Then add your choice of activities to make your party complete. Just choose at least one from the following menu of options:
