What’s On in Cornwall this May Half Term

The weather is warm, the school holidays are here and we’re
looking forward to lots of happy little faces around the resort. We’ve rounded
up the best things to do in Cornwall for May half term…

Steam Day at East Pool Mine

Take a ride behind a traction engine, see working steam
models as well as card model making and dressing up. Tuesday 29th

Feadon Farm

Meet Mavis the fox cub and her foxy friends, fly owls and
birds of prey, uncover critters in rockpools or watch badgers come out in the
dark. There is so much fun at Feadon Farm this half term. There are several
sessions daily, call 01209 842354. Feadon Farm
activities are £8 for kids and £13 for adults. Open to guests and locals.

Family Storytelling Walks at Godolphin

Join a storytelling walk and discover what life would have
been like at Godolphin when it was bustling with farm activity! An interactive
walk around the grounds of Godolphin near Helston with storyteller Mark
Harandon exploring the stories of Godolphin’s agricultural past.

Go Active at Gwel an Mor!

From splashing around in our toasty warm indoor pool at a
Sea Scooters session to bouncing and rolling in a Body Zorb, learning new

Meet Paddington at Lappa Valley

Everyone’s favourite bear will be stopping off at Lappa
Valley Steam Railway! Enjoy a steam train ride, crazy golf, toddler maze and
lots of outdoor play areas and nature walks.

Base Camp

If the sun hides away then head to Base Camp at Gwel an Mor –
one of Cornwall’s best indoor activity centres. With 2,000 square feet of soft
play, ten indoor climbing walls and a great café there is something to suit all

Teddy Bear’s Picnic

Bring teddy for stories, music and family fun at Bodmin
& Wenford Steam Railaway. All aboard!

The Famous Nine Golf Course

Get a round in at our par 3 nine hole golf course, inspired
by some of the most famous golf holes from around the world. Join our Golf Academy
on Monday 28th May to improve your game with our Golf Pro, take in
the sea views and sunsets with our half price twilight sessions offer, or
indulge with a round of golf and two course lunch at The Terrace Bar &
Restaurant for just £25 with our Golf & Dine offer. Golf course open every
day from 9am. Open to guests and locals.

Tudor Costume Day at Trerice House

Step back in time to 16th century Cornwall – try on
recreated Tudor clothes and enjoy the atmosphere of this beautiful National
Trust property near Newquay.

Clover Fishing Lake

While away a sunny afternoon by our peaceful coarse fishing
lake. Fully stocked with carp and tench and with 12 brand new swims, it’s the perfect

Camel Creek
