Our Resort

Cornwall’s most romantic sunset watching spots

Gwel An Mor is famous for its fabulous sunsets and with
every lodge having a westerly sea view it’s easy to see why! Taking time to just
sit and watch the light changing is good for the soul and one of the most
romantic things to do on holiday as the sky puts on a magical show of colour.
Earn some brownie points by packing up a snuggly blanket, a bottle of chilled
fizz and whisking someone special away to one of these spots…

Your private hot tub

Treat yourselves to a luxury lodge with a private hot tub
and you can gaze at the sunset while the warm bubbles soothe away the stresses
and strains of the 9-5, with a glass of something cool and bubbly in hand.
Bliss.

Chapel Porth, St Agnes

Earn extra points by taking the special person in your life
to one of Poldark’s filming locations. Follow the cliff path up to Wheal Coates
tin mine, and watch the sun glint off the Atlantic waves as they roll in.

Cape Cornwall, St Just

A magical landscape of rolling cliffs, tin mines and rushing
seas – as the sun drops you’ll be able to see the Isles Of Scilly on a clear
day and feel like the only two people on earth.

Perranporth Beach

Our top tip is to skip the busy beach and head up into the
sand dunes, where you can find a cosy little hollow just for two and hide away
from the world as the sun dips below the horizon.

Nanjizal Bay, near Lands End

A very special and secluded beach that’s well worth the walk
to get to it. Home to Song of the Sea, a tall narrow natural arch, the colours
of the sunset couldn’t look better anywhere in the world.

We’d love to see your sunset photos so share them with us on
