Rosamunde Pilcher Holidays in Cornwall

British author Rosamunde Pilcher's novels are more popular than ever, with over 100 million copies sold around the world. Her enthralling and heart-warming stories have been the inspiration for numerous TV and film adaptions. These have been shot against the backdrop of some of the most beautiful locations that the English county of Cornwall has to offer.

Rosamunde Pilcher was born and grew up in this beautiful part of England and throughout her novels used the wonderful scenery, buildings, historical locations and culture of Cornwall to thread into her stories. Cornwall is also the most popular part of England that British people themselves choose to visit for their holidays. The combination of quaint fishing villages, stunning coastline, and tin mining heritage is absolutely unique.

In the hands of our expert guide, guests of Gwel an Mor Resort have the opportunity to be taken on a fascinating tour of locations that have featured prominently in Rosamunde Pilcher's stories and to visit the pretty Cornish village where she was born.

To see all these beautiful locations you will need to allow two full days. However, you can opt to see a smaller selection by choosing a one day tour itinerary.

You will be collected from Gwel an Mor Resort at 9am in your choice of a Ford Galaxy (seats up to 6 guests) or a BMW 5 Series Estate (seats up to 3 guests). It is a fixed price, regardless of the number of passengers, so the more people in your party, the better the value!

The trip will last around 8 hours, so you will be whisked back to Gwel an Mor Resort at around 5pm.
